Girl, you and I would make a great team! I am always in for a little hard work!! The past two days, I added on to a flower bed and extended it with rocks, planted a massive amount of plants and flowers, and laid a pallet of sod while my hubby is on a golfing trip. He and I have been building our garden, AND I have wanted chickens for a long time. After researching it a while back, I decided that I didn't want the dog tracking chicken poo in my house and in my bed!!! Keep us posted!! Way to go!!!
I am a wife, mom & and friend trying desperately to balance this wonderful ride of life! I try to never take for granted the blessings God has given us. The simple things are what mean the absolute most to me. I'm always in search of my very own Mayberry. I am constantly trying to grow more in Christ (even though His routes may be a tad different than what I would have had in mind:), be a better spouse to my husband of 18 years, a mom that will bless my children in every way possible (in all things eternal) and a jump-in-the-car-for-you kind of friend. Join me in my attempt to scale back, simplify, & enjoy the precious moments I want to forever remember in my heart.
